How to measure

General

Bust Circumference: Wrap the tape measure around the fullest part of your bust, without wearing a bra or anything padded.

Waist Circumference: Wrap the tape measure around the narrowest part of your torso.

Hips Circumference: Wrap the tape measure around the narrowest part of your torso.

Pants

Outseam Measurement: This is the length of the pants from the rise (where it sits on the waist), to the hem of the pants.

Inseam Measurement: This is the length of the pants from the crotch to the hem of the pants. This is generally the most accurate way of telling where the pants will sit on your legs (i.e. cropped, ankle length, etc.)

A tailored midi skirt cut on a faux wrap, the Lydia Faux Wrap Skirt is built for office dressing — blouses and knits above, flats or a heel below. It carries a meeting and a long day at a desk equally well.

The fabric is a polyester, rayon and spandex blend with a little give, and it is fully lined, so the A-line shape hangs cleanly rather than clinging. The asymmetrical wrap front crosses off-centre for a bit of movement, and the invisible side zip keeps the line unbroken. Midi length through the calf, and it wears best with a top tucked in.
